Introducing the game-changer in fencing

SAVE TIME, SAVE MONEY, SAVE LABOUR

Clear an entire fence line up to 4x faster than traditional methods. One person with a PostMate does the work of two — cutting your labour costs and getting the job done before lunch

ELIMINATE THE RISK. COMPLETELY

Traditional post pulling puts people in dangerous positions under loader buckets. The PostMate removes that risk entirely. Our toothed spool mechanism locks every post in a secure grip — no slipping, no sudden releases, no injuries.

KIWI INGENUITY

New Zealand-Made. Built for Farmers, by Farmers.

There are countless stories of farmers and contractors getting hurt under a loader trying to pull fence posts. The question was always asked: 'Isn't there a better way?' Warren Storey, a Waikato dairy farmer, decided to find out, and The PostMate was born in his farm shed.

The PostMate doesn't just reduce the risk - it completely removes it. What used to be a dangerous two-man job is now a safe, quick, one-person operation:

1. Lower the chain around the post
2. Lift - the toothed spool grips tight automatically
3. Remove the post cleanly
4. Release, move on, repeat

WARREN STOREY

Co-Founder/Inventor

Background
Raised on a Dairy farm in the Waikato I was drawn to the workshop from a young age.

My father has always either made something he needed, improved an existing product or invented his own if it didn't exist.

I grew up thinking that is the normal way of doing things and still enjoy solving a problem with an engineering solution,  that's how The Postmate came about.

The PostMate handles all standard wooden posts and concrete strainer posts across a range of sizes. The toothed spool mechanism grips the chain firmly regardless of post diameter.

What loader do I need?

The PostMate works with most standard farm loaders and telehandlers - no special hydraulics or attachments required. Not sure if yours is compatible? Call Harry or Shawn and they'll confirm in seconds.

How much faster is it than pulling posts by hand?

In real-world use, PostMate users report clearing fence lines up to 4x faster than traditional methods, and without the physical strain or the safety risk of working under a loader bucket.

Yes — The PostMate is available nationwide, either through our approved distributor network or direct purchase online with delivery to your door.

Can I see one in action before I buy?

Absolutely. Contact Harry or Shawn to arrange a demo at your property or through a local dealer. We're happy to show you exactly how it works before you commit.

Who makes the PostMate?

The PostMate was invented by Warren Storey, a Waikato dairy farmer who saw a better way to pull posts. It's designed and built in New Zealand, by people who work on farms.
